Fredericksburg and the LBJ Ranch

One of our most popular Texas Hill Country destinations, Fredericksburg and the LBJ Ranch are one hour and thirty minutes from San Antonio and one hour and fifteen minutes form Austin. See LBJ's boyhood home, his birthplace, family cemetery and the Texas White House while touring the LBJ State and National Parks. Visit a local hill country winery before continuing on to Fredericksburg, Texas - the birthplace and childhood home of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. His grandfather`s old hotel has been converted into a Pacific War Museum. Shopping in this little German town is fascinating. Many items are handmade including dulcimers and hand carved candles.

San Marcos, Texas

San Marcos offers the best in outlet mall shopping at one of the five largest collections of outlet stores in the United States. San Marcos is fifty minutes from San Antonio and ten minutes from New Braunfels.

Nuevo Laredo, Old Mexico

Only two hours and forty five minutes from San Antonio, Nuevo Laredo is a shopper's paradise. Its markets and tiny shops offer treasures from Mexico, Central and South America. A professional guide will accompany your group, provide a walking map of the shopping area, and give tips on all the best buys. Lunch or dinner can be arranged and may include mariachis and/or dancers. On the way home we will swap stories and have show and tell.
