Daisy Tours

We started our company by offering San Antonio bus tours and added convention services only after we knew what we were doing with our charter services. As a result, we have twenty-three years of experience offering the most entertaining, most comfortable, and safest sightseeing tours the area has to offer. Maybe that's why we were voted the Best Motorcoach Company in San Antonio in 2002 by our peers in the hospitality industry. We've been honored with a number of awards because of our consistency, saftey, and performance. We are the official carrier for numerous events and organizations.

Experience San Antonio hospitality with Daisy Tours. Just one call and we'll take care of all the details for your tour, whether you want to visit the historic missions in San Antonio, look for bluebonnets in the Hill Country.

Love sports? So do we. We can handle all your charter services for whatever game you play or watch. Basketball, baseball, hockey, football, golf - you name it and we'll build group travel services around it.

Want something completely different? We love a challenge and enjoy organizing unique guided tours. If you have a special interest or want an itinerary that is not one of our regular sightseeing tours, just ask. We'll design something ideal for you at no additional cost.

Book your guided tours with us and we'll make sure you remember more than the Alamo.

We want your business. We know if you compare us to other charter tour companies, you'll be impressed with what we have to offer.

Before you book charter buses or sightseeing tours, ask these questions:

  1. How much insurance does the charter bus company have? The Department of Transportation requires all bus companies to have $5 million in insurance. We maintain this amount of coverage and we list your company or group as "also insured" on our policy so you can be worry-free.
  2. How many years has the tour bus company been in business? Daisy Tours started in 1980. We have the experience to take care of any needs you have when you charter a bus. In over twenty years, we've arranged a huge variety of services. You benefit from our years of experience.
  3. What is the company's safety rating? Safety should be your charter service company's top priority. We meet and exceed the Department of Transportation's safety ratings. In fact, we meet the safety ratings of the Department of Defense, which is even more rigorous. We carry a lot of America's bravest citizens around and we use the same vehicles for our Armed Forces as we do for you.
  4. How much driving experience do the bus tour drivers have? Three years is the industry recommendation for driver experience. We require a bit more from ours. Our employees are not allowed to drive for us until they have five or more years' experience driving. We don't want someone to practice on our customers. Our drivers know their routes, and know the area well enough to find alternative routes when the need arises.
  5. What make, model, and age buses does the company have? The newer the equipment, the better. We own our own motor coaches, do they? All our vehicles are under five years old. Our fleet consists of Van Hools deluxe coaches that have air conditioning, DVD players, restrooms, and usable luggage space. Our newest tour bus has a wheelchair lift.
  6. Does the company have a maintenance program and who performs this? Maintenance is an ongoing project at Daisy Tours. Our factory trained mechanics make sure all our vehicles are in perfect shape before they leave of our garage. Our safety director inspects each and every vehicle to make sure nothing has been missed.
  7. What kind of cleaning and repair program is in operation? We clean our buses every day to make sure you have the best ride possible. Our trained staff checks each bus for needed repairs every time it returns to the garage. We pride ourselves on having the safest buses and on providing you with a ride that makes it to its destination on time. We can be sure of your safety and comfort only if we take the time to ensure our charter buses are in top notch shape.
  8. Does the company test its employees for drugs? The law requires pre-employment and random drug testing. We are exceptionally careful about the people we hire because you are important to us.
  9. Can you see the buses before your trip? Any reputable tour bus company will let you see the vehicles your group will be using. If you can't visit the buses in person, ask for photos - both interior and exterior shots. If you're in town, we'll bring it to you to check out.
  10. Who do you contact if there are problems? Unforeseen circumstances can happen on any trip. The trick is to solve them quickly and efficiently. If a problem occurs while you are on one of our charter buses, our drivers have cell phones so that they can call for assistance if the situation is beyond their ability to solve. In any other case, if you have any problems, you will be directed to the owner. We want your business, but more importantly, we want your return business and your referrals.
  11. When you call the company, do you get a human being on the phone? You won't reach an answering machine when you call us. 24 hours a day, weekends, holidays, no matter when you call, you will reach a real human being. We know you don't need voice mail when you call. You need service and we provide that to you all the time, every time, and on time.
  12. What is the payment policy? Most people ask this question first, but it really should be the final question. Even the best payment plans are of no benefit unless you are safe and your needs are met during your trip. Make sure you know:
  • How much the coach will cost?
  • What you will be charged if you go over or under the expected rental time or miles?
  • How you can pay?
  • If a deposit is required and how much?
  • If the company will send a contract?
  • If you can write one check for all the services?

At Daisy Tours, you get a contract with all the costs outlined so you know exactly what you will encounter including overtime charges, refunds, deposit required, and payment schedule. No matter how many services you get, you can pay just one bill. We accept cash, checks, Visa, and Mastercard.
